In Avatar 3 we see the darker side of the Na’vi people. The fire-wielding residents of Pandora ‘The Ash People’.
Since the second part of Avatar franchise exploded, the excitement of third part has been growing.
Director James Cameron has been slowly releasing snippets of information and hints about possible plot points. Cameron has hinted that Avatar 3 environment is becoming fiery and ominous with the evil tribe of Pandora called ‘The Ash People’. A fire Na’vi tribe. A race of beings who represents a darker side of the Na’vi on Pandora, and are set to predominantly utilize and worship fire. In an interview with Collider, James Cameron stated, “The spectators will now get to see a darker side of Na’vi-fire-wielding residents of the planet.”
According to Cameron, Avatar 3 and the subsequent installments will be the best in the series and they would visit the new worlds while continuing the story of main protagonists.
Later Cameron added,
“I can say that the last parts will be the best. The others were an introduction, a way to set the table before serving the meal. But, obiously, everything will depend on how Avatar 2 is received if it finds its audience.”
In Saparate interview producer Jon Landau added,
The franchiese will introduce Earth, which will open Neytiri’s eyes. Just like you’re defined by the choices you make in life. Not all humans are bad, Not all Na’vi are good. And thats the case here on earth. And we want to expose Neytiri to that.
The first movie focused on the connection to earth via spirit of Eywa, while second film focused on learning about the seas and adopting to the water in order to survive. As such, it is believed that the third movie will be focus on fire as both a weapon and a resource, with the Ash People.
